Our Final Workshop of the Year… Keeping your Children Engaged over The Summer
THIS THURSDAY!
June 13th, 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Parents often ask how they can help keep their child from falling victim to the “Summer Slide.” This is when students lose many of the important skills they have been working so diligently to develop throughout the school year. If this is a question for you, we encourage you to join us for our final workshop of the school year. During this important hour, you will hear from our teachers about ways to keep your child motivated and learning throughout the sunny days of summer. (Hint: It’s not only about reading and writing!) You’ll also receive a calendar jam packed with activities. Mark your calendars to attend this workshop! It’s one not to be missed! We will even have a representative from the Eastchester Library on hand to share information about summer programming. (The workshop is followed by a PTA meeting.)
As you know our fun run will take place next Wednesday (May 15) and the kids are very excited. The class with more students registered will get to have breakfast with Ms. Doyle. I am sure our kids would love that 🙂
Also, parents can win 2 tickets for the Loukoumi Dance party at Lake Isle on May 19th where our school will receive an award.
